You can never go wrong with a classic red lips all year round no matter the season. Red lips are very classic and with a winged liner or neutral eyes you are good to go.
If you notice this is highly worn by celebrities on the red carpet. Some divas find it very difficult to pull off a red lips but its very easy to work with, but you must know what works for your skin tone and how to work with it making sure to use the right shade and a lip liner.

You can never go wrong go with the right shade of red lipstick and I highly recommend mac red lipsticks because they have different types with different undertone that can work for every one, yes am a mac addict I love my ruby woo its my favourite lipstick however I have other red lipsticks like Russian red, red racer, diva, lady danger, riri woo, chilli, diva and I know how to make it work for me, ruby woo has a blue undertone that works for all skin type but I must say its very drying and a retro matte which I love and don't mind the dryness because it stays put on my lips.
If you are wandering my shade in my am an NW45/46, MSF dark deep, match master 8.0 .
I love to use the following lip liners when doing a red lips depending on what I want: cherry lip liners, burgundy, brick but my favourite would be cherry, from the picture above I have on cherry lip liner , mac lady danger and ruby woo on my lips.
When wearing a red lips make sure to keep the eyes and face simple you don't want to do too much to over power the lips because that is the focus point.
Red lips are very glam and elegant and never out of trend and to really define those lips after filling in your lips with a lip liner go in with a lip brush to apply lipstick and go back with an angled brush with a concealer one shade lighter than your skin tone to define and clean up the excess from outside the lips this helps to add definition to the lips.
Loving red lips at the moment, actually almost addicted to my Kate Moss Red lipstick at the moment! Nice blog!
