Hi every one I know its been a while please forgive me I have been so busy with life, I know you guys know what am talking about and before I continue I want to say a new happy year to every one hope you all had an amazing holiday? I would be dedicating more time to my blog this year. I must say as a makeup artist I have grown a lot and for me now less is more when it comes to makeup application either on my client or myself as well as using a light hand.
Bridal makeup has a special place in my heart and when it comes to wedding makeup its all about the glowing skin for me. Prepping is so important because you want to make sure that the makeup do last all day and still look flawless. It must be flawlessly applied no heavy hands or cakey face. I decided to recreate a look I did on one of my bride and this bridal look will be in segments including Nigerian bride with gele.
With this look I did contour and highlighted my face with cream products to add dimension to my facial structure and went back to set that will powders product. The skin was the main focus and to give my skin that glow I mixed my foundation with a liquid illuminator from Mac called strobe liquid lotion but this is limited edition I don't know if you can get your hand on it.
When doing a bridal look you must put the photographer in mind because you want the pictures to come out beautifully, do not use a HD powder, transparent powder, foundation with SPF because they do give a flash back and white cast look in photography and if you have to use a foundation with SPF it shouldn't be more than SPF5. I have a tutorial for this look on my YouTube channel and you can find attached video below .
