Summer Makeup Essentials

My makeup lover i haven't forgotten about you guys even though i have been doing more fashion post lately i love fashion but anyway as you all know i am a certified freelance makeup here in Ireland and i would be sharing with you all my summer must have to keep your face flawless without melting under the hot sun. First of all i am a huge believer in skin care, the key to have a flawless face or makeup application is skin care. When it comes to my skin i trend to stay away from products with chemicals i only use natural products from Lush or simple. I use simple moisturisers depending on the time of the year as at this moment because it summer i am using simple moisturiser with SPF 30, simple mi-cellar cleaning water which i absolutely love, simple light moisturiser at night after taking off my makeup, simple face wash, simple mi-cellar cleaning wipes to take off my makeup, apricot facial scrub all of the above i use on a daily basis, Lush sea salt scrub on my face and Lush Shea butter cleanser once a week love this products and higher recommend them.

I also do a DIY honey scrub which i mix with honey and sugar store in the fridge this i would normally use when i feel like my skin is getting dry or looks dull for reference purposes i do have combination skin which is too say that i get oily on my T-zone and the other parts of my face are normal and sea salt deep steaming . Less is more during the summer or colder season i focus more on the skin and blending which is the key to making the makeup glide onto the skin without moving and here are my summer makeup essentials:

Moisturiser:
A moisturiser of choice with at least a minimum of SPF 30 but you can go higher with SPF 50.

Primer:
A mattifying  primer of your choice i go with Inglot, mac visage radiance natural primer or my eye-shadow base yes you heard me right try using your eyeshadow base as primer and see for yourself.

Liquid Illuminator
A liquid illuminator to give your skin that sun kissed look i would normally use Mac strobe cream or Mac strobe liquid, Nars illuminator or the one from NYX .

Highlighters
Mac gold deposit, Becaa higlighters or any highlighter of your choice

Eyeshadow base
A good eye-shadow base if you are on budget would be the one from wet & wild you would thank me later.

Foundations
An oil free foundation if you have oily skin like the Mac Face and Body foundation, Makeup Forever Velvet foundation, Combination skin i would go with Makeup Forever HD, Estee Lauder Double Wear, Lancome Teinte Miracle or Teinte Idole 24hours these foundations also work well for people with dry skin. For divas on budget L'oreal true match and revlon colour stay please stay away from cream foundation it is a no go area during the summer because it will melt off, even though i love using cream foundation for clients with dry skin.

Lip Balm
A lip balm of your choice or Vaseline

Eyebrow Pencil
Mac eyebrow pencil,  NYX  eyebrow pencil which is dupe for the Anastasia one, benefit goof proof pencil

Mascara
L'oreal Mega Volume mascara

Lip-gloss
Any lip-gloss of your choice my favourite lip-gloss of all times is Mac Spite which goes for 21.Euros this is ridiculous but i can't seem to find another lip-gloss that works for me.

Bronzer:
If you love to bronze your skin i would say use Mac MSF( Mineralised skin finish) as a bronzer and also contour but for my deeper skin sister i suggest to get the Mac Studio Finish Foundation Powder NW58 you dont need no heavy contouring as well as cream contouring for summer which i dont use on myself or client i love using powder i am not against using cream do you if you love cream .

Eyeliner
With eyeliner i would go with the NYX Liquid eyeliner

LUXURY SHOPPING MISTAKES TO AVOID IN 2022

We all love our luxury items don't we? I'm sure we all do. Luxury products are not cheap and with the insistent price increase from  brands. Of course, we want to wear these luxury brands because we love the lux lifestyle and having to spend hundreds of our hard earned on these items can sometimes be ridiculous. I have narrowed down six tips on how to avoid luxury shopping mistakes and also buyers remorse.   1. Avoid Instagram hype trendy items: Do not fall for the Instagram hype when you see influencers wearing this items. What some of you fail to understand is that some influencers are gifted this items from luxury brands to promote because that is part of their job. A trendy item will be gone in the next couple of months and there comes another trend. Who wants to keep up with this trend every 6-12 months, spending thousands of money on these items? Not me of course. Sometimes it is very hard to give a honest review for a product that has been gifted to an influencer from

My Top 5 Most Used Luxury Handbags.

Yesterday i shared on my YouTube channel my top 5 most used luxury handbags before the lock down. Luxury handbag collection is a life style and not a brand. I love to collect luxury handbags because i know that these are my forever pieces and could also be passed down from one generation to another. This is a new addition to my Chanel collection i bought this last year December as a graduation gift to myself from the University. Chanel beige caviar leather, double flap, sliver hardware in the size jumbo which is also called large. This bag i absolutely love but i wish i opted for the size medium instead apart from that i have no regret having this in my collection and also a big plus for me is that this can be worn cross body. If you are in the market for a Chanel bag just know that you will be paying more as there is a price increase of 7% so this particular bag will be going for  up to 7-8,000$ but make sure to get in touch with your sales assistant for more details.
