Urban Decay just lunched a new foundation collection if you know me personally you know i am always on the hunt for the prefect complexion product. Foundation can make or break your makeup application even when you have a well blended eye-shadow. For me it is all about skin work when it come to foundation application i want the foundation to look more like skin be it a full, medium or light coverage foundation.
The foundation come in 50 shades with different undertones you can't beat that. I got two samples from the Urban Decay counter and the lady who served me was so amazing. The two shades i got were shade 80WY and 81WY. The 80WY has more of a golden undertone while the 81WY had a warm undertone, after doing swatches of both shades i opted for 81WY.
The foundation dried down to a real-skin matte finish but it is not too matte it gives a demi-matte finish that is to say it is not too matte or dewy and it is skin like with a little glow.
I do have combination skin and i will highly recommend this foundation if you have oily, normal and even dry skin but for dry skin you might want to make sure the skin is well moisturised. The undertones are not off which i must say is a plus for me, also the foundation does not settle into my smile lines which is where i would normally get creasing.
It is breathable and does not feel heavy on the skin. These pictures were taken with 3 point lighting and i must say that it photographs well without leaving a flash back white cast finish. The prices point of 36 Euros is very reasonable besides it comes with a pump unlike other foundations that cost from 45Euros upwards(Nars, Laura Mercier, Gucci, Chanel, Charolette Tilbury, Tom Ford etc). It is curelty -free and does not test on animals with a 30ml/ 1 o product, the packaging is also travel friendly.
