If you have been following me for a while you know that my style has changed due to some personal reasons. I strongly believe that when you get to a certain stage in life you have to let go of somethings. My style has changed because certain things no longer work for me and i am not into tight fitted clothes anymore that is not to say that my clothes should be ill fitting it is a big NO for me. I have opted for clothes that are flattering on my body type. I love dresses and i want a dress i can transition from morning to evening, casual to chic as well as from summer to autumn and winter. Slip dresses can be a hard one to get your hands on if you are plus size because they tend to show your business if you get what i mean and sometimes they could be very unflattering. Getting the right cut and fabric can also be a hit or miss. If you are plus-size i would suggest to go to H&M i can not say this enough. For the past few years H&M has become my absolute favorite store to shop from. I am a UK size 18/20(US 14/16) depending on the cut, style and fabric but i do not get my clothes from the H&M plus size range i get them from the regular section in a UK size M/L and they fit perfectly. Have it at the back of your mind that a slip dress must not always be a stain fabric, slip dresses comes in a variety of fabrics from linen to cotton, stain you name it. My greatest advice to finding the prefect slip dress for your body type is to stay away from anything shinny or stain because this will reveal all your problem areas instead of disguising them. Remember as a plus size diva a slip dress might not do justice to your body type depending on how you are shaped that is why i have opted for a linen slip dress instead of a stain.
