Wide Leg Pants Are Back In 2021

Today's blog post is all about the wide leg pants and how to style them for your body type. One thing i love about this style of pant is that it is very elegant, sophisticated, chic, makes you look feminine and put together without even trying. I must say wide pant legs are wardrobe staple for everyone. With plus size it can be tricky sometimes to get the right silhouette because we are shaped differently.

To be sincere i have been one that shy away from wide leg pants for a very long time until i found this from the H&M sales rack for 10 euros you can't beat the price. This type of trouser can be paired with wedges, flats, heels and sandals like i have done with my Hermes Oran sandals in tan colour. I love the versatility of this wide leg pant. For the colder months you can wear this trouser with a pair of blazer, leather jacket or a trench coat. Since the weather is still hot over here i paired mine with an old lace top i got from Newlook way back and my Chanel beige classical caviar leather in size large. A white linen shirt tucked in on one side, flat sandals and an over sized sunglasses will take this look to the next level.

Because i am curvy i completed this look with a lace top that fits right and not body hugging. These type of trouser can also be styled in a monochromatic way by adding classic pumps and some accessories. For the winter i will style this with a jumper or roll neck and coat to keep me warm and cozy. The cut and fit of this pant is just right. My recommendation when styling a wide leg pant is to always wear something fitted on top that has structure and will balance out the wide leg.

Faux Leather Joggers.

It is the coat season again and i have been under the weather with the cold and everything that comes with the winter. But what more can i say the winter is here to stay and for good. The weather hasn't been very great here in Ireland with the heavy storms and rain. I recently got this leather joggers from here: https://www.missguided.com/ie/plus-size-black-croc-faux-leather-joggers-10163286 in the size UK 20 which is US 16 and keeping it simple with a pair of Louis Vuitton trainers, Turtle neck from H&M, Chanel Vintage flap bag and over sized coat from Asos UK 14 /US10 which i have had for more than three years, this was my first ever camel coat. With my outfit this days it is all about comfort not to say that i do not wear heels anymore, i do but not on regular basis. This outfit can be dressed up with a pair of heels to take it to the next level or a combat boot for the boohoo chic look which i absolutely do love too.
